Speaking on “Opinion”, CEO Fatbardha Rino stated that every innovation in a highly regulated market such as banking naturally triggers reaction and resistance, especially when it transforms traditional financial structures. She described this as a well-known phenomenon across European markets when digital banks emerge.
According to her, Jet Bank is built on a verified structure with controlled shareholders who have no involvement in operations, while management is fully separated and professionally governed.
“The old always reacts to the new, but in the end, only regulators and facts matter,” she said.
She further added that digital transformation in banking is not only technological but also cultural, as it reshapes how citizens access financial services. This, she noted, is why digital banks are often misunderstood in their early stages.
